Built in 1765 and a former home of the Chief of the Clan Mackay, the lodge offers all the warmth, comfort and charm expected of a traditional Scottish Highland house.
Inside the Lodge, as you would expect with a traditional Highland House, Bighouse Lodge is comfortable and spacious. It has 12 en-suite double/twin bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 24 people.
A true home from home the Lodge provides all the opportunities for both rest and relaxation as well as indoor activity entertainment facilities including TV and games room.
The reception floor is spacious yet comfortable, the Drawing Room, Study and Dining Room all feature open fires. The facilities also include wi-fi, good mobile phone coverage, a large meeting room, billiard room, drying room and laundry facilities.
